Calderon: Monday
Monday will be a decisive day for Real Madrid and the Old Trafford club as it could signal the end of Ronaldo’s reign with Manchester United.
Los Merengues are keen to sign the Portuguese international but so far, United have always turned down any such possibility.
Calderon is willing to tempt Gill into parting company with his player and this could be Real’s last chance to prize the Ronaldo away from the Premier League.
According to AS, Calderon is ready to offer between €80-€90m for the winger and this should be enough to tempt the English club into releasing Ronaldo into Calderon’s open arms.
It is believed that Gill is ready to deal after being told by the the Glazer’s that a good offer would be hard to refuse.
If a deal is reached, Ronaldo will then meet with coach Sir Alex Ferguson to tell him that he wants to leave the club.
United have always stated their stance over a possible sale of Ronaldo, claiming it was impossible.
However, with Calderon waving the cash, this is the ideal opportunity for United to make money hand over fist.
